Periyar Inn - Thekkady

Its rooms were neat, the staff was pleasant, we had an amazing stay for 5 nights. No complaints whatsoever, did not want to leave there.

The rooms at this lovely homestay are spacious and well-maintained. the hosts, Jobin and his wife, are incredibly friendly and even invited me for a delicious home-cooked meal. Jobin was also very helpful with organizing my day trips and providing guidance for my onward journey. Staying at this place was definitely a highlight of my trip.

Impressive rooms and great service, perfectly pleasant stay during vacation. Unbeatable and comfy location in Periyar lake 5 km elephant Junction, near Elephant Junction. I loved the owner, and the staff was affable and cooperative. I had room with hot water working properly. Food for breakfast was outstanding! Vews of the beautiful garden.

Considering location, it has particularly good and excellent setting close to close to all facilities, Periyar National Park and shops. Amicable people are working here. There's views of the beautiful garden.

We had an amazing stay at a lovely family-run homestay in a convenient yet peaceful location. The spacious and clean rooms had a balcony where we enjoyed watching monkeys and hornbills. The family took great care of us, offering tea & coffee and making breakfast according to our schedule. We even got the chance to interact with their friendly kids. we highly recommend this homestay.

This lovely apartment had everything for a wonderful stay for 5 nights. The owner helped me a lot. I really enjoyed amazing and good location. Plus it was easy to reach a forest and a park near the venue.

The owners are friendly and cute. The resort is beautifully decorated with plants. It is a safe place for families. The location is close to the bus stop and convenient for activities. The hosts provide excellent service and the wifi is reliable.

We had an amazing stay at Periyar Inn! The rooms were tastefully decorated and spacious, with a very comfy bed and nice bathroom. The guesthouse is well-located for the bus, restaurants, national park, and shops. Mr Jobin and his wife were incredibly kind and helped us with organizing activities and personal tasks. They showed us great hospitality and made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

A Hidden treasure with a Perfect homestay for a fantastic stay! The rooms werevery comfy and tidy, with a mosquito net for a peaceful night's sleep. The owners were kind and cute, always ready to help. The breakfast was delicious. The location was convenient, close to Periyar Tiger Park and the mini town of Kumily. I highly recommend this homestay for a perfect stay.

Stayed at a spacious, clean, and carefully designed room at Periyar Inn. the hot water in the bathroom was much appreciated after a trek at Periyar Tiger Reserve. the reserves’ bus and ticket office were just a few minutes walk away. the garden surrounding the front of the room created a beautiful oasis where we enjoyed a lovingly prepared Kerala breakfast while listening to distant monkey calls and spotting birds in the early morning. the host and her family were very welcoming, chatty, and informative. Highly recommend this homestay for its proximity to the reserve and peaceful ambiance. 😊.

great stay! loved the friendly host family who made us feel at home. their son and daughter were so sweet and helpful. wish we had taken up the offer for dinner with the husband's nature insights. periyar > munnar. the location was perfect for activities. recommend a guided hike with chances to see wildlife. don't miss abraham's spice garden tour.
